Who publishes this
The Gauteng News Bulletin is published by the Provincial Communications Sub-committee of the African National Congress in Gauteng Province. It is a political publication and contains political commentary and campaign material.
Service delivery reports
Reporting a fault through this application does not constitute lodging an official complaint with a municipality, and does not create a legal obligation on any municipality, utility or organ of state to act.
This is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 10111 (police), 10177 (ambulance) or 112 from a mobile phone. For gender-based violence, the national helpline is 0800 428 428.
We undertake to acknowledge and escalate reports within 48 hours and to publish our performance against that commitment, including our failures. We cannot guarantee that a third party will effect a repair, or when.
Acceptable use
You may not use this application to:
- submit false, malicious or vexatious reports;
- publish hate speech, incitement to violence, or content prohibited by section 16(2) of the Constitution;
- defame, harass or expose the personal information of another person;
- submit content that is unlawful in the Republic of South Africa; or
- interfere with, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service.
Reports are published on a public register. We may edit or remove any submission that breaches these terms.
Accuracy
The bulletin is compiled from reports by branches, regions and the newsdesk, and from publicly reported information. We aim for accuracy and will correct errors promptly when they are drawn to our attention. Content is provided as published on the date of the edition and may be overtaken by events.
Links to other sites
The application links to the national ANC website and to third-party documents. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of external sites.
Intellectual property
Editorial content is published for the use of members, branches and communities and may be reproduced for branch general meetings, community meetings and non-commercial civic purposes with attribution. Party emblems, names and insignia remain the property of the African National Congress.
Availability
The service is provided as-is. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
